I have great news for Thessaloniki today. If you want to discover the highlights of the City of Thessaloniki, a city with rich history and culture you can use the new public sightseeing bus.

It’s the first public sightseeing bus in Thessaloniki and I am very happy about this because we didn’t had until now. The sightseeing bus will start the routes in June, so if you travel in Thessaloniki after June you can use it.

The center of Thessaloniki is not so big and you can see most of them if you walk in center, but now you can go and find easily some areas as Upper Town.

The bus will start it’s route every day, every 45 minutes from the symbol of Thessaloniki which is the White Tower and it will give in passengers the opportunity to find and see the best monuments of Thessaloniki.

Some of the most important are:

• the Archaeological Museum
• the Palace of Galerios
• the Agia Sophia church
• the Aristotelous Square
• the Upper Town
• the Monastery Vlatadon
• Rotonda

These news are not important only for tourists, they are important for Thessaloniki’s residents also, because we love our city and now it will be easier for us to see our culture and monuments.
