There are two official sales per year in Greece. In summer, they start July 15 and end on August 31. In winter the sales start on January 15 and end on February 28.

When you go out for shopping, you must see two signs on items you want to buy. The first price showing the original price and the second price showing the sale price.

You must be careful about the prices because they are not all the time lower. If you think something is expensive and you can find it anywhere else with less money don’t buy it. Some shop owners illegally up the prices some days before the sales and they make you a dishonest discount. Not all the shop owners do this practice, but you must be careful when you shopping on sales.
